Loved the concept of regional food – Methi Na Gota – Methi ke pakode


  1. Add finely chopped methi leaves.
  2. Finely chopped coriander leaves to a bowl.
  3. Coriander leaves should be half in quantity than methi leaves.
  4. Now add besan to it.. almost one and a half times than methi leaves.
  5. Now add whole peppercorns (8-10), 1 table spoon of coriander seeds (crushed between hands).
  6. Chopped green chillies, Turmeric powder, Salt, Pinch of sugar and Lemon juice to it.
  7. Mix all of these without adding water.
  8. Start adding water little by little.
  9. Keep mixing.
  10. Adjust the pouring consistency. You can adjust the salt after adding water.
  11. Add a pinch of soda bi carb. Give it a rest for 15 minutes.
  12. Heat oil and fry them properly.

Serve hot!!
